We started the day with a great time at our favorite park. Robbie ran some laps around the pond, Noah rode in the stroller, Eva slept and I was the designated stroller. Noah had some good time to get his wiggles out before a long evening of eating, visiting, and, for him, movie watching.
We finished the day with a nice visit and an absolute feast. We were thankful for more than the food. Our family means so much to us. If only we could have met with our OK family, what a day it would have been!

"Dat's Jesus."
Noah and Robbie reading about Jonah:
Noah: "Dat's Jesus."
Robbie: "No, that's the king of the Assyrians."
Good luck with that, Noah. Good luck.

Costume Party with the Comm Group
Love these crazy folks!
Hobbits, newly weds, wild things, and airplane pilots. Oh, and the queen AND the president made appearances.

Happy 2nd Birthday, cousin M!
A sweet time with Noah & Eva's cousin. I was so happy that she really seemed to love the sweet little bear we gave her! It had the perfect neck for hugging and cuddling. The babydoll and mini stroller were a big hit! Gotta remember that when Eva gets older.
Thankful: chilly days, hot chocolate, that boy
Today we played on the porch (while I fed Eva in the rocking chair) and sang every song we could think of together. It was cold and windy but the fresh air was perfect. Eva was wrapped in a down blanket. Noah with his wool hat. Me in flip flops, of course, because mamas can endure anything, right? We came inside (without throwing a fit) for Noah's first hot chocolate of the season. I want to remember these sweet days with the Littles.
Noah's current hobby
Noah loves to "wash his hands" right now. Every morning after finishing his breakfast, he plays in the sink. Lately it's been a bigger and bigger mess so we are looking for new activities to replace this one (not to mention the fact that it's a huge waste of water!). I am a little nervous about our next water bill...
1 month of Eva
We can't believe how fast time is going! She's a super easy going baby who doesn't ask for much. Every now and then we'll have a wild night, but for the most part she is Miss Mellow.
Noah absolutely loves to kiss the top of her head and giggle like crazy about it. He likes to tickle her feet and say, "tickle, tickle, tickle!". He always slows down when he gets close to her and is really gentle. Just once I did catch him spitting/drooling water on her from his mouth. ???
Sometimes when I get him up from a nap, he'll ask, "where's my baby?". Now he'll tell me, "that baby's sleepin'"

Rob's 5k
Robbie ran a 5k for the Special Olympics last weekend. Along the way, the runners have colored powder thrown at them - so Robbie wore all white and is keeping the shirt as a souvenir. I am still finding blue powder stains all over the house a week later. :)
Proud of that boy!

Welcome to the World!
Our baby girl is finally here. We feel so blessed not only to have a new little one, but one so sweet and marked by contentment. Let's pray this marks all her life!
