2 Months of Noah!

Have I mentioned how crazy we are about this little man?  He "passed" all of his check-up stuff with flying colors.  Praise the Lord for growing up our little one!  We continued some vaccine stuff (which was fine except that he was incredibly sleepy and then one leg got a little swollen and red, which he was not happy about at all -- but he's fine now).  His head is smallish and his body is longish -- and we love every inch and ounce of him.

I love these shots of Asher taking in his new little cousin for the first time!  He's a pretty enthusiastic kid anyway, but this is just too great.  (Notice that my mom is holding Asher back by the throat...and he doesn't mind a bit!)

House Update!

It's really happening!

1 Month Old

This is a little late, but we want to see Noah grow!  This is him beside his sock monkey (that at the time, was still in progress -- hence, the lack of arms, face, etc.).  We'll try to take a photo of him beside the sock monkey each month and watch him grow!

These are his stats from his one month doctor's visit.  He's a bigger guy than we expected!

A Few of My Favorite Things

Hebrews 4:11 "Let us therefore strive to enter that rest..."  

(Noah means "rest"--and I think there's more to the fact that God gave the land "rest" when the flood ended.  I think maybe there's a hint towards the greater rest that Hebrews describes.  This means that Noah's name points us to an the sure hope of heaven more than a man who built a boat. :))
